Culinary fundraiser to support Camp Possible

CINCINNATI— Talbert House will host its annual Step Up to the Plate event on Saturday, November 8, 2014 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Summit Restaurant at Cincinnati State.

Step Up to the Plate features fine cuisine and confections with a first-class silent auction. The evening includes a cooking demonstration with internationally acclaimed chef, Master Chef John Kinsella, and live entertainment by The Eden Park Duo. The event is led by co-chairs, Greg Hoernschemeyer and Alan Piker. Proceeds support Talbert House's Camp Possible, an eight-week therapeutic day camp for children struggling with mental illness and/or substance use.

Master Chef John Kinsella has been voted Cincinnati's Chef of the Year twice and culinary educator par excellence by Cincinnati Magazine, voted Regional Chef of the Year by American Culinary Federation, and regularly appears on Fox 19's Morning Show and WVXU's "Everybody's Cooking".
