Fiber Art & Quilt Exhibit - Cincinnati Event
October 17, 2014 to October 19, 2014 - Milford

A selection of contemporary fiber art will be on display October 17-19 at Cincinnati Nature Center at Rowe Woods Visitor Center. Wall hangings, sculptures, 3D figures, wearable art, basketry, weavings and hand-dyed fabric will all be available for viewing and purchase. A free artist's reception will be held Friday, October 17 from 5-8pm.
This is the annual exhibit of the Contemporary Quilt and Fiber Artists (CQAFA), a local creative group serving the greater Cincinnati area. Members include internationally celebrated and exhibited artists as well as those just beginning to explore the art applications of fiber. This year's exhibit features a special arrangement of 3D houses constructed by several members at a recent CQAFA-sponsored workshop.
The exhibit is open to the public from 9am-5pm, October 17-19, and is included as part of the regular Cincinnati Nature Center admission fee. During these hours, CQAFA members will be available to answer questions as they demonstrate a variety of art techniques. The Center is located at 4949 Tealtown Rd Milford OH 45150.
