Whatever Happened To Astrology? - Cincinnati Event
December 09, 2014 - Middletown
Brad Kochunas, author of The Astrological Imagination: Where Psyche and Cosmos Meet will discuss how throughout modern history we see the trending and passing of the popularity of astrology in the Western world. There was a huge resurgence in American culture in the sixties and seventies with the rise of the New Age and Human Potential movements; an increase in its appearance in popular media, publishing, music, clothing, art, jewelry, even inroads into academia as a topic for serious investigation. What has happened to it since then and why should we be interested? This program is free and open to the public.
