Second Sunday Family Showtime: Rhythms Of Our Land - Cincinnati Event

Join the Clifton Cultural Arts Center for year five of our fantastic family performance series, which will feature special receptions after the show each month! Shows start at 2 p.m. and are free for kids and just $5 per adult. Scholarships available. This month's performance of Rhythms of Our Land is presented by the Bi-Okoto Cultural Institute and is appropriate for kids K-6 & families.
Bi-Okoto takes you on a journey to experience Africa. The program presents culture, language, math and history through authentic songs and folk stories, highlighting geography, with essential drumming and dances from the countries of Nigeria, Ghana, Togo, Benin, Senegal, Mali, Guinea, and South Africa.
On the heels of the Cincinnati Film Festival, get a glimpse behind the lens. Local filmmakers divulge their cinematic secrets and distinctive techniques - complete with clips they think you'll love.
