September 28, 2014 - Middletown
Students
at Miami University Middletown will host the Fourth Annual MUM Family Fun Fest,
2-6 p.m. on Sunday, September 28 in and around Johnston Hall. This year's Fun
Fest will include free bouncy house, free door prizes, free community
partner scavenger hunt, coloring contest, raffles, music, 25 cent carnival
games, and food for purchase.
"Our
students, faculty, staff, and community partners have been working tirelessly
to make this a fun, low-cost, family-friendly event," said Miami Middletown
Assistant Professor of Psychology Ginger Wickline. "We have had over 1,500 people attend in past
years. We want to see the event continue to flourish so people can have fun and
learn more about what services Miami University and other community partners
offer."
Admission to this event is free. Canned
& boxed food donations for local charities are welcomed (but not required) at
the door. All event proceeds benefit local non-profit organizations.
In case of bad weather, the event will still be held indoors.
