Changing America Seminar - Cincinnati Event

Changing America commemorates 2 historic events, separated by 100 years, on their 150^th and 50^th anniversaries even as Miami University celebrates the 50^th anniversary of Freedom Summer.  Both tell the story of people longing for liberty and justice. 

The seminar will be held in Johnston Hall Room 142 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. It will feature Dr. Nishani Frazier and Dr. Martin Johnson. 

The exhibition is made possible by the National Endowment for the Humanities and is presented by the Smithsonian's National Museum of African American History and Culture and the National Museum of American History in collaboration with the American Library Association Public Programs Office.
