CrossFit The Tracks presents local author and director Gary Williams for a documentary viewing of Murph: The Protector, plus a Q&A session.

Williams wrote the book Seal of Honor: Operation Red Wings and the Life of LT Michael P. Murphy, USN, which highlights Navy SEAL Lt. Michael P. Murphy's entire life of honor, courage and commitment, as told by his friends, family and teammates. Williams also co-directed Murph: The Protector, the feature-length documentary about Murphy, who was awarded the first Medal of Honor for combat in Afghanistan.

During the event, we will show Murph: The Protector and host a Q&A with Williams about his experience writing Seal of Honor and directing Murph. Attendees are welcome to stay afterward for The Murph, the CrossFit Hero WOD inspired by this Navy SEAL.

Admission is $10, which will be donated to the Lt. Michael P. Murphy Memorial Scholarship Foundation; or you can pay $40, which includes a signed book, DVD of the documentary and three other Michael Murphy DVDs; $10 from each $40 admission will be donated to the Foundation. Registration required.
