St. Rita CCR 5K Race - Cincinnati Event

Children with communication challenges will benefit from the 1st Annual 5K Run / Walk on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 9:00AM at Winton Woods. St. Rita CCR (affiliated with St. Rita School for Deaf), invites friends and families to join the fun, rain or shine! The Race will be "chip" timed and on-line Registration is available until Thursday, April 3, 2014 at www.RunningTime.net. Ages 13 & older, the cost is $15 without a T-Shirt; $20 with a T-Shirt. Ages 4-12, the cost is $10 without a T-Shirt; $15 with a T-Shirt. Parking is limited at Winton Woods Kestrel Point. All vehicles must have either daily ($3) or annual Great Parks pass. The 5K Run / Walk begins at 9:00AM, with a Kids Fun Run immediately following the Race. Everyone is invited to stay after the Event for a photo with the Gapper from the Cincinnati Reds, refreshments, the dance party and the Awards Presentation. About St. Rita School for the Deaf & St. Rita Comprehensive Communication Resources: Founded in 1918 and based in Cincinnati, Ohio, St. Rita School for the Deaf works to meet the needs of hearing-impaired and deaf children along with students with communication challenges. It is the first school in the country to develop an educational program for students with Childhood Apraxia of Speech - a neurological disorder affecting the motor programming system for speech production. St. Rita Comprehensive Communication Resources is affiliated with St. Rita School for the Deaf and funded by donations. Its mission is to benefit families across the country by providing educational resources for children with communication disorders.
