Description: Have you always wanted to make syrup from the maple trees in your yard? This workshop will be filled with "sweet" advice for those wishing to make syrup on a small scale. Selection of trees, tapping, sap collection, sap storage and boiling as well as finishing and canning syrup will be addressed. Spiles (tree taps) will be available for purchase. Meet in the Rowe Visitor Center.
Is Registration Required? Yes
Admission: Members, $8; nonmembers, $16.
Age Appropriateness: For ages 18 and older.
