Description: In this often humorous lecture, Dean Regas tackles such controversial topics as: the Mayan Calendar, Moon Landing, UFO sightings, Doomsday Comets, and Astrology. He shows why it's important to confront superstitions head-on and how you can champion reason to make an impact in the information age. Dean is a co-host of Star Gazers, which airs on PBS, and has been the Outreach Astronomer for the Cincinnati Observatory since 2000. Registration is required. Members $8; nonmembers $16. For ages 18 and older.
