Authentic barbeque samples fresh off the smoker, live music, football on the outdoor big screen cornhole competitions and more will add to the excitement of the evening's events. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite team's gear to the party. The celebration continues with the official ribbon cutting that will take place at 10:30 a.m. on opening day. "I can't wait to see these doors open and watch the Northern Kentucky community come in and enjoy our real barbeque cooked low and slow, fresh off the smokers," said General Manager Ryan Minser. Minser grew up in the area and is looking forward to seeing many familiar faces. "I know they are going to love it," said Minser. This all comes on the heels of City Barbeque placing among the Top Ten, in the tomato mild category at the 2013 American Royal World Series of Barbecue® Sauce Contest. The entries represented 36 states within the United States as well as Canada.
