LEADership Development: Members Sit, Leaders LEAD - Cincinnati Event

Non-profit representatives looking to strengthen their organizations' board leadership are encouraged to attend ReSource's training program on May 8. Susan Ingmire, president of Ignite Philanthropy Advisors, and Jim Yunker, president and CEO of Smith Beers Yunker & Co., will host interactive discussions on best practices for developing board leaders instead of board members. Ingmire and Yunker will teach attendees how to implement a strategic plan for leadership development, how to institute a year-round leadership development committee, and how to provide effective orientation and coaching to new board leaders. The seminar is part of "Building Blocks for Non-Profits," a monthly training program for non-profit organizations offered, in partnership with U.S. Bank and The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati, by ReSource, a local non-profit that distributes corporate donations to member charities.
