Join the ACLU of Ohio for a discussion and book signing with University of Pittsburgh Law Professor David Harris about his new book, Failed Evidence: Why Law Enforcement Resists Science.
Failed Evidence examines the myth of foolproof evidence—and why justice demands that police and prosecutors rely on the best that science has to offer.
Critics have called Failed Evidence "crisp and engaging," "free of legal and scientific jargon," and a "must-read for anyone interested in a behind-the-scenes look at the criminal justice system." Harris is Distinguished Faculty Scholar and Associate Dean for Research at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.
Books will be available for purchase at the signing table.
This presentation has been approved for one hour of free CLE credit by the Supreme Court of Ohio.
